Child Custody

Often potential client will contact the Law Offices of T.R. Spencer & Associates, P.C. seeking a "child custody" order. This often occurs where parties are not married and there has been a break-up of the parties' relationship. The States of Utah and Idaho do not recognize a separate law suit for "child custody" matter, but child custody is determined in other legal actions.

Child Custody can be determined through the use of one of the following legal actions: (a) a divorce, (b) paternity action, (c) a divorce modification action, or (d ) a paternity modification action.
